The German Tinnitus Hearing Foundation Charité was established in 2011 with the mission of providing optimal treatment for tinnitus and hearing disorders while empowering individuals to protect their hearing. The foundation’s scientific events, including congresses and symposia, facilitate the exchange of knowledge among tinnitus experts, disseminating the latest research findings and treatment options. Additionally, the foundation shares the outcomes of clinical studies with the public, contributing to educational initiatives in this field.
Task
The concept and realisation of the first website for the foundation in 2012. The website was relaunched in 2019 (minor update) and again in 2023 (complete update) to increase user-friendliness and provide new information.
Implementation/Results
The website presented in 2023 is designed in pastel colours, with rounded lines and a clear structure to avoid unnecessary “noise.” It contains all the necessary information on current research findings, news, and the option to make direct donations to support prevention projects.
